I Win Written on October 26, 2011 by tinkwelborn Categories: Poetry - The Stuff of Life 1 1 comment so far. Why not leave your own? So I’m in retirement now. I’ve made it around the plates, and I’m home free. All that life. Spent working every day. Day in, day out. All the people I met along the way. I wonder where they are now. I wonder if they wonder where I am. I made it home, though. One to nothing. I win. I guess next week, no one will remember the score. ©Marvin Loyd Welborn 2011 Rate this:Share this:TinkwelbornShare Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window) LinkedIn Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Like Loading... Or perhaps I will remember the score. 🙂 Winning feels good, doesn’t it?
