No One Reads Poetry Written on October 24, 2011 by tinkwelborn Categories: Poetry - The Stuff of LifeTags: poem, poetry 3 3 comments so far. Why not leave your own? ~ No one reads poetry, lest the poet be dead. ~ Somewhere or someplace, I heard that once said. ~ This poem’s a short one. ~ It’s not very long. ~ By the time you are here, it’s done! ~ And I’m gone. . . . Well, I read your poem and you are not dead so it disproves your theory so, just put it to bed. Keep writing your poems be they long or short and when asked why you write them just give a smile and a snort. Reply
If this is true then either you are dead or I am no one. Which is it?
