So Christmas is here,
and it’s early this year.
As I do remember
we just passed December.

January, I hardly recall!

What happened to Spring,
and the Summer, and Fall?

If memory serves right,
it seems just last night –
Why, I still have the price-tag
on the present I bought!

Oh wait! I forgot!
This is a Leap Year!

Wow, reading your poem (at dVerse) makes me realize just how fast this year has gone! Last January seems almost like yesterday in some ways, but in other ways it feels like ancient history.
