When this old world finally winds down
and we’re not around, forgotten, passe,
we will have said what we’ve had to say;
we will have made our day.
Do not go downnot making a sound.
Shake up the ground,make it profound.
Done! Done! When everything’s gone,
Make it renown what you say.
Then when this world has finally spun down,
all that pround and ever renown,
Gone! All Gone! When everything’s done!
Know this: You too had your day.
Do not go down without making some sound
when you could have your own day.
And when this old world has finally wound down,
Leave it with something to say.
