    one day is special

 

one day

    apart

    from the rest

 

one day

    remembered

 

one day

    configured

 

one day accursed

    or blessed

 

the First day

    of June

is my one day Blue Moon

 

one day

    which isn’t

    my best

 

for some

    may be boon

on each day

    First June

 

but this day

    for me

    is the worst

 

it could be

    much worse

 

not being

    aware

 

of which day

    is that day

    for us

 

but

    this day

    each year

I will

    persevere

and wait

    for June First

    to pass

so

    if I’m not here

the next day

    next year

 

know that

    June First

    was my last

 

fore knowledge

    is best

unless

    it’s too fast

 

then hind sight

    will matter

    much less
