So long, my old Friend,
a long way we’ve come;
yesterday gone,
I now stand alone.

Fourteen years,
it’s not so much long;
goodbye my dear Friend,
a long way from home.

No more to be there,
whenever I roam,
farewell to a Friend,
now that I am one.

The nudges, the budges,
the pulling along,
why had I yelled?
perhaps I was wrong.

Moments turn dormant
now that you are gone.
Goodbye to my Friend,
now I am alone.
