Once upon a time…

it should’ve been fine.

  It could’ve been fine.

    It would’ve been fine,

 

Once upon a time…

a very old line;

overused, abused,

    and now, it’s poor.

 

Once upon a time…

once used as a sign

  now, but not as before.

 

Once upon a time…

used now, is a crime,

  not used, anymore.

 

But, once upon a time

I thought you were mine.

It would’ve been fine.

  It should’ve been fine.

    It could’ve been fine,

once.  Now, it’s a time

    no more.
