~
Farewell to the ocean, the notion of fun;
warm days and sun rays, California sun.
Goodbye to the patrons who wished for us well;
Farewell to the chevron, two years of hell.
Comes now the moment, we knew that it would,
lying once latent, it shows when it should.
Adios, mis amigos; adieu, everyone.
We had our moments, those moments are gone.
Farewell to the mystery, life never ends
for youth; wherein truth, youth just pretends.
All gone, all the moments new ones become;
vaya con dios, amigos, what fun.
Farewell to all that and what could have been –
We’ll never know elsewise, ever again.
